Copacabana

Still using our Oz adventure as inspiration. This is based on an excellent reference photograph from John Atkinson. A nice memory of much warmer times.

Painted with Artisan water mixable oil paints on Daler Rowney Georgian oil paper, it measures approximately 16" by 12".

Pod of Pelicans

Another painting inspired by our trip down under at the end of last year. Our friends took us to see the pelican feeding at The Entrance. They really are weird looking birds. This one measures approx 16" by 12" and was painted with Atelier Interactive acrylics on Winsor and Newton Galleria acrylic paper.
